Fashion in Majesty: Haute Couture and Tradition at the Thai Royal Court
Musée des Arts Décoratifs unveils an exclusive exhibition devoted to the evolution of dress at the Thai royal court, presenting exceptional treasures from the royal collection.
Bringing together more than one hundred garments and accessories, it offers an intimate glimpse into royal elegance. It also celebrates a remarkable creative dialogue forged over three decades between Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and couturier Pierre Balmain, later continued with the Houses of Balmain and Lesage.
The exhibition forms part of the celebrations marking 340 years of diplomatic exchange and 170 years of formal relations between France and Thailand.
